CAMH is a mental health and addiction teaching hospital, as well as one of the world’s leading research centers in its field. The Center is affiliated with the University of Toronto, and is a Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization Collaborating Center. CAMH combines clinical care, research, education, policy development and health promotion to help transform the lives of people affected by mental health and addiction issues. It provides high quality, client-centered care to meet the diverse needs of people facing addiction and mental health challenges at different stages of their lives and illnesses. Clinical services include assessment, brief interventions, inpatient/residential programs, day hospital services, continuing care, outpatient/ambulatory services, and family and friends support.
