AAWORD is a pan-African, non-profit organization with more than 1000 members. The Association undertakes and supports research, training and advocacy with the intention of promoting the economic, political and social rights of African women. Areas of focus on women include: trafficking; economic development; education; empowerment; rights; safety from violence and vocational training.
