In Ethiopia, the CORE Group Polio Project (CGPP) focus on reaching underserved rural and migrant populations to facilitate opportunities to vaccinate, but with much focus on case search and reporting to maintain acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) surveillance quality. CGPP activities include: improving the health of mothers, children and communities through supporting national efforts in AFP, measles, NNT and other infectious diseases case detection and reporting; and immunization activities. The Project supports documentation and use of information to improve quality of health activities for child survival.
