The Ministry of Health aims to promote health and wellbeing of Ethiopians through providing and regulating a comprehensive package of promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative health services in an equitable manner. The Ministry decides the health policy and guidelines, defines intervention priorities, and finds financial resources. The Regional Health Bureaus of the Ministry are responsible for the implementation of the national health policy in their area. The Health Bureaus develop and implement plans and evaluate the efficiency of the health system. The Bureaus have to provide support and technical assistance to the district/Woreda Health Offices.
The FMoH resources have relevant documents, guidelines, indicators, plans, manuals, policies, proclamations, regulations, packages, reports, standards, strategic documents, presentations and bulletins.
