The Global Database is established by World Health Organization. It is a standardized compilation of child growth and malnutrition data from nutritional surveys conducted around the world since 1960. Scientists have been using growth assessment because it best defines the health and nutritional status of children while serving as a useful indirect measurement of a population’s overall socioeconomic status. The Global Database includes population-based surveys that fulfill a set of criteria. The A-Z country database list allows users to select a country, view and print available child malnutrition data and reference tables. The child growth data can be downloaded from Nlis and the Global Health Observatory website.
