Global Health Advocates - GHA
GHA is a non-profit organization that focuses on engaging all sections of society to fight diseases that disproportionately affect people living in poverty. In particular, GHA works towards the formulation and implementation of effective public policies to fight disease and ill health. The organization works in France and with the EU institutions to increase political and financial support on Overseas Development Assistance (ODA) and global health budgets. Specifically, GHA works with MPs by organizing study visits in the countries most affected by diseases of poverty, conducting conferences and providing material for evaluating public policies. GHA focuses its advocacy on ending TB, HIV, malaria immunization, nutrition and the key issues affecting child health. GHA’s advocacy extends to financing health systems and promoting global health research & development.
