Community Health Workers are frontline public health workers who are trusted members of and/or have a close understanding of the community served. NACHW aims to unify the voices of CHWs and strengthen the profession’s capacity to promote healthy communities. The Association also aims to convene national forums and regional work groups to contribute to organizational development planning and direction.
