The NCD Alliance is a global network and unites more than 2,000 civil society organizations, scientific and professional associations, academic and research institutions, private sector entities and individuals in more than 170 countries, dedicated to improving NCD prevention and control worldwide. The Alliance unites all to stimulate collaborative advocacy, action and accountability for NCD. The NCDA maintains strategic relations with the World Health Organization, UN and governments, putting it at the forefront of elevating NCDs onto the global health and development agenda. The Alliance also leads global civil society advocacy that is underpinned by the recognition that NCD-related issues are also urgent economic and social justice issues of our generation. The advocacy aims for political commitments on NCD prevention and control. Analysis and publications are produced on priority policy issues with partner organizations to translate knowledge and policy into action. The NCD Alliance ensures that good practice in evidence-based policy and implementation are shared among international, regional and national forums. In addition, it facilitates and convenes meetings, high-profile events, roundtables and virtual webinars that focus on topical themes.
