Resilient and Responsive Health Systems – RESYST London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine
RESYST is an international research consortium that aims to enhance the resilience and responsiveness of health systems to promote health and health equity and reduce poverty. The consortium works in Africa and Asia, including fragile settings, low and middle income countries seeking to identify lessons that are transferable across contexts. The countries are: India; Kenya; Nigeria; South Africa; Tanzania; Thailand and Vietnam. RESYST carry out multi-country and comparative research, enabling you to identify where low-income countries can learn from the experience of middle-income country health systems. The research focus on three critical health system components: financing, health workforce and governance. The RESYST research is developed in consultation with key stakeholders ensuring that the questions respond to country priorities and needs.
