Setting up Community Health Worker (CHW) Programs

On this Primary Health Care Webinar:
1) Participants will identify spillover benefits of stakeholder engagement that help to address social determinants of health in urban and peri-urban settings
2) Participants will be able to identify obstacles to deploying CHW programs in urban and peri-urban settings that are common to low income and high-income settings
3) Participants will be able to describe feasible strategies to overcome barriers to CHW programs through stakeholder engagement.
***We will have Prof. David Bishai from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, who is now health officer of Harford County, and Dr. Peter Waiswa from Makerere University School of Public Health & Global Health Division, Karolinska Institutet, Uganda as expert speakers. The session will be moderated by Prof. Michael Klag from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
