Ethiopian Public Health Association (EPHA)

EPHA was established to promote better health services for the public and to maintain professional standards through advocacy, active involvement, and networking. Projects/activities of the Association include: strengthening family planning by improving the performance of Health Extension Workers; working with youth to reduce HIV risks; advocating on alcohol and substance abuse; generating and disseminating evidence based information through research studies and program evaluations. EPHA conducts surveillance activities to improve Ethiopia’s health services.
The publications page has articles, abstracts, proceeding on different health issues, and the Association’s online e-journal: “Ethiopian Journal of Health Development”
