The organization’s Mentor Mother Model empowers mothers living with HIV, through education and employment, as role models to help other women and their families access essential services and medical care. m2m works with governments, local partners, and communities to eliminate HIV infections in children and reduce maternal and child mortality. m2m and its Mentor Mother Model advances 6 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that most directly affect women and children’s health, development, and economic security. m2m works in Mozambique, Zambia, Uganda, Swaziland, Malawi, Lesotho, Kenya and South Africa, with satellite offices in London, Los Angeles, CA and Washington.
